The 1400 series slip-on bearing is intended to replace your OEM bearing retainer when your "A" measurement is more than 3" - or in other words when the distance from the backface of the bellhousing and the tip of the fingers is 3.0" or more. This is the clearance you will need to slide this throwout bearing into place over the collar.
These bearings are made of the finest hard anodized billet aluminum, along with quality elbow swivel fittings and high pressure stainless steel braided lines. These high quality components make the Mcleod bolt on hydraulic throw out bearing extremely durable, and the best in the market today! These assemblies may be used to eliminate the need to fabricate complex clutch linkage when swapping transmissions.
These McLeod 1400 bearings slip right over the front collar of your transmission. They are self-adjusting, meaning that you'll never have to adjust them as your clutch wears, and they can be set for the proper mounting clearance needed.
If the space between the the face of your bellhousing and the tip of the fingers is less than 3.0" you'll need our bolt-on bearing.
